The High Framland benefice gets its name from the wapentake of Framland, mentioned in the Domesday Book.  There were four wapentakes in Leicestershire.  High Framland is the northernmost benefice in the deanery of Framland which roughly corresponds to the Borough of Melton Mowbray. The benefice contains the six parishes that are named on the home page.  More about the churches can be read on their individual pages.  Click on the button to the left.
